We are pleased to announce that our latest project, a 5-bedroom, 4-bath beach house named “Scuttlebutt,” has received its certificate of occupancy just in time for the summer season. Located in the Ocean Park neighborhood of Old Orchard Beach, this property has been redeveloped from a fire-damaged cottage into a beautiful vacation home and rental.
At Beylin Development, we focus on delivering quality properties. While our main focus is on medium to large-sized multifamily projects, we saw the potential in this unique opportunity for a short and mid-term rental, thanks to the experience of our in-house property management company, Mighty Oak. This off-market gem was discovered by our team, showing our ability to identify valuable opportunities that others might miss.
One of the most notable aspects of this project is our adherence to an aggressive construction timeline. Starting in November 2023, we completed the redevelopment in under six months, showing our commitment to efficiency and excellence. We owe a significant thanks to the Old Orchard Beach code enforcement, town offices, and the Ocean Park Association for their support throughout this process.
In the spirit of Ocean Park tradition, the Anania family, including young children Enzo, Isla, and Vera, chose the name “Scuttlebutt” for our new beach house. The exterior and interior design were thoughtfully crafted by Alyson Anania, wife of partner Peter Anania, who advises the Beylin Development team on design choices. This property will serve as a standout short and mid-term rental and vacation home for Beylin Development partner Peter Anania and his family.
While our expertise primarily lies in medium to large-sized multifamily projects, our affiliate Beylin Homes is dedicated to building and developing single-family homes, duplexes, triplexes, and quadplexes in Cumberland, York, and parts of New Hampshire. Our venture into the short-term rental market with Scuttlebutt demonstrates our flexibility and commitment to exploring diverse opportunities that align with our skills and experience.
We look forward to sharing more updates and projects with you in the future. Thank you for your continued support as we embark on this journey.
